Sarah Gill is a Consultant Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. She has a subspecialty interest in Major Trauma Care, pelvic, rib and periarticular lower limb fracture fixation.
Sarah is a graduate of the East of Scotland Orthopaedic Training rotation. She completed trauma fellowships at Shock Trauma Centre, Baltimore as AO Travelling Fellow in 2018 and at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham as Senior Trauma Fellow in 2019. She has an MD in Medical Education from the University of Dundee focusing on the role of feedback in psychomotor task performance. Sarah is the current Bone & Joint 360 journal podcast editor. She is passionate about the evolution of the Scottish Major Trauma Network and the development of collaborative research studies.

Consequently, no confidential or patient-identifiable data should be sent to the Society under any circumstances. Any and all confidentiality notices appended to unsolicited communications are held to be invalid, and the Society retains the right to refer breaches of patient confidentiality arising from such unsolicited communications to the relevant professional body.
